Football Predictions for 2014

It’s time to see what awaits us in the world of football this year. 2014 promises to be really spectacular and we offer some great football predictions about the World Cup, the Champions League, the FFA Cup, Asian and European Leagues, and some really important soccer figures.
World Cup
Confidences are for an intense final between Argentina and Brazil. Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero will lead the Argentineans to the victory. This will definitely result in a huge frustration for the whole Brazilian nation. Such a big and prominent sport event can’t go without some drama off the pitch but it will be forgotten once the event starts and everyone is overwhelmed by the action. It will doubtlessly be a vigorous and bright parade of the most prominent football squads in the world, don't miss it on livescore or live stream because that will be great events.
The Australian National Team
Coach Ange Postecoglou will lead to Brazil his team of young players where they may give some hard time for a few prominent squads. Australia will be quite excited but Socceroos won’t move ahead. However, their performance won’t turn to be a disgrace. Some bigger clubs may get interested in Australia’s outstanding players Tom Rogic and Tomi Juric. The Australian squad won’t be embarrassed by their performance and they will establish a great basis that will allow them build their future. The players are young; they don’t fear and don’t have great expectations. All this allows them to show off their skills and move forward because the national team is more important than any personal aspirations. The squad probably has greatest chances against teams like Holland and Spain that are a bit tired after an intense European season.
The English National Team
No big things are expected by the English. They will be out of the event after the first round. The players’ performance will be greatly affected by a kind of exhaustion caused by the long local season. It will be hard for them to manage in the severe atmospheric conditions in Brazil and their age certainly won’t help them deal with the situation. The English team will have a really tough time against Uruguay and Italy. The best result they will achieve will be a draw or a win with Costa Rica. The English players really have ridiculously high number of matched they play and something must really change if they want to enhance the performance of the national team.
Sepp Blatter
The president of FIFA will stay true to himself in Brazil. He will undoubtedly make a minimum of one great blunder. The crown will jeer at him every time he appears on the stadium. Hopefully, he will somehow introduce the miraculous vanishing spray and everyone will be grateful about that.
English Premier League
In January Arsenal will pay lots of cash for a skilled striker and will finally win the leagues after nine years of hope and disappointment. The team will come ahead of Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool. The final few weeks will be really dramatic as the leader will change after each match. There will some great clashes between titans. Making sure that his squad will win the trophy, Arsene Wenger will retreat while he is on the top and that would be one of our football predictions. He has spent 18 marvellous years at the squad but it’s time for him to move on. The season will be rather disappointing for Manchester United. They will also invest money during the transfer window to make the team stronger but it will be in vain. However, David Moyes will continue being their coach.
Champions League
The two finalists will be Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Bayern will be led by Pep Guardiola who is eager to recreate his Barca dynasty in Germany but his team won’t be able to oppose Real and Christiano Ronaldo who will do his best in Lisbon and will make sure his team becomes victorious.
A-League in Australia
The Wanderers and the Roar will make it to the final. Only one goal will be scored and it’s likely that the winner is defined in extra time. The Wanderers will perform much better than last season and they will grab the win, leaving the Roar quite disconcerted. No severe clashes between fans are expected.
Champions League in Asia
The event will once again demonstrate the gap between Europe and Asia in terms of skills, technical ability, football predictions and movements. This gap is slowly closing, though. The great part is that the standard continuously improve but we can still notice the difference between the pace and speed in those game. The pitches will also be problematic – too hard, too dry and too lumpy. The FFA should undoubtedly deal with this issue.
The FFA Cup
This season the FFA Cup will become a real hit and will attract lots of attention. The event is a great tribune for young and unknown players who can demonstrate their skills and get noticed than major clubs.
Vale Eusebio
The world of football has lost a great player and a great person – Eusebio. He played in about 500 matched and has scored numerous goals. The great striker was born in Mozambique and he became immortal when he won the golden boot award in 1966 after he scored the amazing nine goals for Portugal at the World Cup. The national team of Portugal will undoubtedly gain some extra motivation in Brazil, so we can expect great performance by the squad this summer.
