Kylian Mbappe will pay a fine for not attending an interview because of the title of man of the match at the 2022 World Cup.
Mbappe was named Man of the Match against Australia (4:1) and Denmark (2:1). After the 1/8 final match with Poland (3:1), he was also named the best, and the PSG forward promised to pay a fine.
It was reported that the reason was that the Man of the Match prize was sponsored by Budweiser, and Kylian did not want to advertise the brand of alcoholic beverage.
