Schalke 04 fired Roberto Di Matteo after a disappointing final season in Germany for the team. The Italian, however, certainly won`t stay still after what happened, as it is expected to pick according football-capper.com up a pretty hefty commission.
According to `Bild`, from early in the morning, the manager of Schalke Horst Heldt negotiated with two agents of di Matteo. The total amount that the Italian specialist and his assistants Attilio Lombardo and Massimo Batara will pick, could reach 5.8 million.
Heldt is logically trying to minimize the damage and to decrease the total compensation up to 1.9 million.
Who took the decision on the dismissal of Di Matteo is not yet clear, but Heldt is also looking for quite a criticism for the decisions at the club.
