The legendary Ukrainian striker Andriy Shevchenko was presented officially as a member of the coaching staff of Ukraine for the European championships according football live stream this summer.
Shevchenko will perform the functions of assistant coach Mihailo Fomenko, occupies the position of Alexander Zavarov.
Shevchenko still holds the record for most hits with the team of Ukraine, with 48 goals in 111 games. Winner of the 2004 Golden Ball as player of AC Milan.
The Ukrainian Federation decided not to renew the contract of Zavarov and appoint in his place Shevchenko, announced the coach of Ukrainians Fomenko.
Shevchenko had an offer to become the head coach of Ukraine during November 2012, but then declined, since no proper coaching licence.
Subsequently, the former striker of AC Milan, Chelsea and Dynamo Kiev are out of the UEFA Pro license and can now start a coaching career.
`After four years of active rest, I will return in the big football as a coach. I`ve worked with great coaches like Valeri Lobanovski, Carlo Ancelotti, Jose Mourinho and I have learned a lot from them. The coach courses helped me to clear my ideas and to create their own vision for football.`, said Andriy Shevchenko.
